Welcome to Speed Arena, the complete source for motorsports information on the internet.
Speedarena.com launched on January 21st, 2002, as Motorsport Vortex. After one year with great success but lots of confussion with another site we decided to change the name to Speed Arena.
Speed Arena is the defacto standard in motorsports coverage for the automotive enthusiast.
To differentiate itself from other motorsport websites, Speed Arena (SA) provides a US based publication and enthusiast portal covering a wide spectrum of motorsports activities. Not content to be another website covering only Formula 1 or NASCAR, Speed Arena provides coverage of a number of different professional and amateur racing series scattered around the globe - from ALMS to WRC, DTM to SCCA ProRacing plus tailored future coverage to the wants and needs of readers.
Speed Arena offers discussion forums, the latest news, feature cars, technical features, huge photo archives, an events calendar and more, all focused on the interests of motorsport enthusiasts.
Only with the adaptability and progressive nature of an online magazine can Speed Arena cover the wide array of racing series it does with the demanding standards set forth by its founders and staff.
While many print publications struggle to build an online presence to support their product, Speed Arena has drawn upon experience from sister websites such as VWvortex , Swedespeed and Subdriven to offer the next generation of automotive enthusiast media. It combines the highest quality design and publication with the technology, up-to-the-minute capabilities and interactivity of the Internet. It is a publication devoted to fans of motorsports, where it has been and where it is going.
As part of the Vortex Media Group websites, Speed Arena has a unique and loyal base of readers from which to draw upon.
We are very excited about the future of Speed Arena, and hope you get as much enjoyment out of this site as we do bringing it to you, the motorsport fan.
Happy Racing.
